About us
Longtable Beer Cafe is a combination cafe, bottle shop and tasting room, located in Downtown Middleton which brings a communal experience to craft beer and food. One of the things we have loved most about the craft beer world in the fifteen years we owned Brasserie V in Madison is the sharing aspect of this culture; craft beer brings people together with bottle shares and connecting over a pour. To bring this concept to life, Longtable offers a selection of 300 craft beers in a self-serve open cooler, along with 12 rotating taps.
The cafe features communal seating in a casual setting, with tables custom-made in Middleton from reclaimed New Glarus barn wood. The namesake Longtable is 23 feet long, and seats up to 24 people. There is patio seating in warm weather, and garage doors and folding walls that open the main restaurant to the outdoors. We have added a walk-up window for carryout so you can enjoy our food and drink across the street in Stone Horse Green.
The menu is created from artisanal meats, cheeses and local produce, and is designed for sharing: think charcuterie, cheese and veggie boards, in-house smoked BBQ, farm-fresh salads, seasonal sides, and shareable snacks including Belgian-style Frites. As at Brasserie V, local sourcing is an integral part of Longtable's mission, and we are proud to work with local farmers and artisan producers to showcase the bounty of the region.
